First use
Before using the appliance for the first time, make sure the room is well ventilated and let the appliance heat up for about 3 minutes at maximum power (but without using containers). During this operation, a slight odor may be exhaled and some smoke may be released. This phenomenon is completely normal and will last for a very short time. Ensure adequate ventilation. Then clean the appliance as described below in the General Maintenance and Cleaning paragraph.
