The magnetic field of a permanent magnet decreases quickly as distance increases.
The sphere in the charger, is located in the field of a powerful neodymium magnet; therefore it is abstracted by a force which increases quickly as the sphere’s distance from the magnet decreases.
Once delivered, its potential energy turns into kinetic energy.
Two 1 stage guns may be connected in series to create a 2 stage gun.
